15 miles today. I got up at 3:20 this morning and on the trail at 3:40 with Mouse Trap. My headlamp is getting replaced in Damascus. It was a really nice “night” hike as it was almost 50 degrees until 8:30 and the stars were all out and bright. We made great time and hit Moreland Shelter at 8:30ish and then I got ahead. I made it to Kincora at 10:30 and rested up and showered.
FedEx, Mouse Trap, and I went into town for the $5 all you can eat pizza buffet and to do some shopping. I picked up stuff for apple pies and apple pancakes. It’s gonna be a great time here tonight.
The hostel will be rather full, but what the heck. Tomorrow will be long and has a big climb. It’ll be interesting. I really don’t have anything else to report.
