11 miles of slack packing today. Alleycat, Hawk and I got a ride from Miss Janett back to Spivey Gap (where they left off) and slack packed back to Erwin. They continued on to Curly Maple Shelter, but since I’d already gone there yesterday I’m staying here in Erwin again and will meet them at Indian Grave Gap tomorrow. Miss Janett may be willing to drive me back up to the gap this evening, which would be perfect. I’ll just wait for Alleycat and Hawk to catch up tomorrow.
