13.5 miles today. Talk about an absolutely gorgeous day. Not a cloud in the sky and only a very light wind. We got a late start but booked it out at 9:30 and 10:00, her then me. Hawk and El-Train passed Spence sometime between then because I passed El-Train, his knee is really swollen, and caught up with, then passed, Hawk before I caught up with Alleycat at Derek’s Knob.
Now we’re here at Double Spring Shelter and it’s packed. Poor Alleycat’s the only lady around for miles. Good comraderee, but we’re tired so it’s time for bed.
